WEHRENBERG THEATRES BRINGS CHILD FAVES TO THE BIG SCREEN
With summer over, parents are searching for family-friendly activities they can do with their young children. They won’t have to look far. Wehrenberg Theatres is partnering with HIT Entertainment and Screenvision to bring the “HIT Entertainment Child Series” to area theatres.
HIT Entertainment is the leading independent children’s entertainment producer, home to kid-loved and mom-trusted figures such as Barney the Dinosaur, Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob the Builder. All three will take turns on Wehrenberg Theatres’ giant screens!
Every remaining Saturday in October (beginning with October 10), guests can enjoy Jungle Friends, featuring Barney the Dinosaur and his pals at select theatres. All participating theatres will play the film Saturday mornings at 11 AM. Tickets are just $5! In November, the next film in the series features Thomas the Tank Engine and friends in Splish, Splash, Splosh. Showtimes will remain Saturday mornings at 11 AM, and tickets are still just $5.
The series will take a brief hiatus during December, then return with Thomas and Friends again in the film Thomas and the Runaway Kite showing Saturdays in January. A list of participating theatres is:

Tickets for Jungle Friends are available now at the box office or online at www.wehrenberg.com. Future series tickets will be available in the weeks to come. Following Thomas and the Runaway Kite, the series takes another break, but returns June – August 2010 with Bob the Builder, plus more movies starring Barney and Thomas.
