Wehrenberg’s “MVP Card” One of the only theatre circuits where you can Earn Rewards at the concession stand as well as at the boxoffice!
St. Louis, MO – Wehrenberg Theatres’ MVP Card now rewards guests at the concession stand, making it More Valuable than ever. The MVP (Movie Viewer Program) Card, introduced one year ago, originally rewarded guests who purchased movie tickets. Each transaction earned the card-holder points good toward free popcorn, soda and movie passes.

Due to its popularity, Wehrenberg Theatres has expanded the MVP Card to include concession purchases. Guests can swipe their cards after treating themselves to traditional theatre snacks such as hot-buttered popcorn, ice-cold soda and sweet candies. Each concession purchase will earn more points in addition to those received for box office transactions.

The MVP Card will also reward points at Fred’s Drive-In, the restaurant with the 50’s feel found at the St. Charles 18 Cine and the Galaxy 14 Cine in Chesterfield. Similarly, the card is valid for menu items at the Ronnies Drive-In, located in the Ronnies 20 Cine.

“The response to the MVP Card was huge, bigger than we anticipated,” said Ronald P. Krueger, Chairman and Co-CEO of Wehrenberg Theatres. “But the top suggestion we kept hearing was ‘make the card valuable at the concession stand, too.’ So that’s what we did.”

MVP Cards are available at all fourteen Wehrenberg Theatres, including the ten St. Louis metro-area locations. Guests can also sign up for an MVP Card on the web at www.wehrenberg.com.

Celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2006, St. Louis-based Wehrenberg Theatres is the oldest family-owned and operated theatre circuit in the U.S. Ronald P. Krueger, 3rd Generation, Chairman and Co-CEO of Wehrenberg Theatres, Inc.
